About Providing A Respectful, Safe Farm Environment...
- Foul Language, destruction to our property, smoking, is valid reasons that you will be asked to leave our property. We try our best to give you a good farm experience; all that we ask is that you respect our wishes and other families that have also paid to experience the maze adventure. We will ask you and your child for proper behavior and respect while visiting our farm.
First let’s talk Corn Maze
Our maze covers 20 acres. If you make every wrong turn possible, and walk on every single path, you will be walking about 4 miles of trail. There is no way that you will walk that many miles, if you have fully engaged in our Corn Maze 101 Lesson Talk. Once you purchase your maze ticket, we don’t turn you loose in a corn field. There’s an explanation on how to conquer the maze, this takes place in the orientation room. The corn maze is open the last Saturday and Sunday in September, and Friday, Saturday & Sundays in October.

An organized group means that they are coming to the corn maze as a group. If we are opening specially for your group, then they will have a start time and an organized end time. The group leader is responsible for collection of money. The group leader collects money and makes one transaction for the group.
The Group Leader should call and make a reservation to the corn maze. Please call 269-422-2378 and leave the following information: Name, Group Name, Phone Number, Number of People and estimated arrival and departure and any special needs such as the campfire or picnic table area. We have zero tolerance for foul language, destroying the maze which is cutting through the corn to get to another path, breaking the corn, throwing the corn and smoking in the maze. If these actions are done in view of a Barbott employee, the member will be asked to leave and report to a group leader.
I want to make a reservation for a group, but I see that you are closed weeknights…
Yes, we are closed weeknights. However for groups of 20 admissions and larger, we will open for you. Please advise your group of being on time. Once your group departs for the maze, the front area is closed, as we are assisting you in the corn maze. Please note nights are limited and fill up fast. Give us a call to inquire on your specific date. Remember! We do not hold tickets for late comers, as the ticket sales area closes once hayride departs. Please remind your group to be punctual.
Birthday Parties…
Birthday Parties (Advance Reservation Required)
Regular admission applies….see group rate info for groups of 20 or more.
- Birthday Parties are welcome during public hours.
- Pumpkinville only open Saturday and Sunday 1-6.
- All guests require admission.
- Picnic and campfire area is free, by reservation only, 2 hour blocks please.
- Child pickup and drop off –at front entrance only.
- Barbott’s are not responsible for holding tickets for late arrivals.
Yes! We have parties all the time! The picnic table spaces are available by reservation, free of charge for a maximum of 2 hours. We try to accommodate all requests; therefore we do not allow you to reserve your tables for your whole visit. We have freezers and refrigerators to hold cake and ice cream, and a safe spot to hold presents.
Greeting and guest departure…
It’s best to have one parent/frient greeting at front door, and one parent/friend at the party site. This will alleviate congestion for the cash registers. As a rule of thumb, anyone past the cash register line requires an admission. Please instruct parents who are picking up children to wait at front entrance area, as the children will be brought to you at the close of the party.
What admission rate would I pay?
If you have 20 people or more, your group rate is $6.00 per person. This rate includes the corn maze and Pumpkinville if you are here during hours of operation for Pumpkinville. If you do not want to do the corn maze, you would purchase a Pumpkinville Farm Pass admission at the rate of $4.00 per person. Please note: if you have elderly that will not be involved in any activities, they will still be charged an admission. Please note Pumpkinville is open Saturday and Sundays 1pm-6pm.
What if some of my group wants to do the maze, but not others?
You must meet 20 people to get the group discount for the corn maze. If you do not meet 20 admissions that want the maze, regular price will be followed. There is only one price for Pumpkinville regardless of group size.
Can I have food?
Yes! People order Pizza all the time and have it delivered to the farm. You are responsible for the ordering and receiving of the meal. You can also bring your own; we have electric for crock pots, etc. You may also utilize our concession stand.
How much time should we schedule?
If you have young kids, they usually will visit all areas of Pumpkinville. The teenagers tend to hang out by the hay fort and pedal cars. I would think 30 minutes in this area would be sufficient if we are not busy. If it is a busy day, there will be lines for the activities. You may want to increase to 45-60 minutes. Hayride: actual ride time about 5 minutes, waiting for hayride extra. Corn Maze: one maze about 45 minutes to an hour guesstimated. (Will know more actual time, once people start reporting.) Gifts, food, and games: add whatever time you think is needed.
I’m ready to make the reservation…
Please call 269-422-2378 and leave the following information: Name, Phone Number, Number of People, Date, Time Preference and your needs for picnic area and/or campfire. We will get back to you once we compare your request to the reservations already in place. We will help you make your party a success!
I’ve got small children, can they do the maze…
Yes your smaller children may get tired of walking. So pack your stroller or wagon and bring it with you to the maze. The trails are about 4 feet wide, easily able to accommodate a wagon. Just realize that in each maze, we have a bridge that you walk up stairs and over the corn. So just be prepared to have to lift the stroller or wagon a little bit, or take another path.
I have responsible, good mannered children that want to come and hang out with friends...
Your child must be 12 years of age and older to purchase a ticket by themselves. This means they will be purchasing an “adult ticket”. Do you trust your child to follow our rules, respect our property, and respect what we ask of them? If you answer yes confidently, then yes we are happy to have them hang out with us. Please have children meet you in the parking lot by 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and on Sunday’s at 6:00pm. We have zero tolerance for foul language, destroying the maze which is cutting through the corn to get to another path, breaking the corn, throwing the corn, smoking in the maze. If these actions are done in view of a Barbott employee, the member will be asked to leave.
I am dropping off 12 year old kids, what I need to know... It’s not acceptable!
Safety is first! Children 12 years of age and younger are required to be with their family or an adult chaperone. You are welcome to bring a book and read in your car, or sit in our waiting area…please be advised the waiting area closes at 9pm on Friday and Saturday and 6pm on Sunday. We just want a parent close by. A high school brother or sister is not acceptable, as they very seldom stay with the younger sibling. A Child admission will not be sold without a parent/adult chaperone. This is for the safety of your child.
Can grandparents come with us to the maze…
Yes! Our corn maze is a family event. We frequently have families come with 3 generations in their party. Just realize that our field is a real corn field. It will be harvested at the end of the season. The trails are tilled and mowed to create a hard walking surface. However, please watch your step, it is still farm ground.
How long will it take…
When you purchase your ticket, it is for both mazes. However, the ticket is only valid for what you can complete the day of your purchase. The first few days that we are open we get reports from people attending our maze. Most everyone give us their opinion on which maze is harder or easier and how long it took them to conquer each maze. We will advise this information during your orientation time. On average past years have taken about 45 minutes per maze to complete, while reading a map.
Food…
Visit our concession stand to have lunch, a snack, or a refreshing drink.
Rules, Rules, Rules…
We have zero tolerance for foul language, destroying the maze which is cutting through the corn to get to another path, breaking the corn, throwing the corn, smoking in the maze. If these actions are done in view of a Barbott employee, the member will be asked to leave and/or report to a group leader. Rules are posted at the entrance, spoken at orientation, written on your tickets, and also here on the webpage.
Are there other activities besides the corn maze…
Yes! The activities depend on what day and the time your visit occurs. Let me first tell you that we have two basic activities: 1. Corn Maze. 2. Pumpkinville.
What is Pumpkinville…

September 29th, Saturday: 1:00pm-5:00pm, Closes at 6pm

Families also enjoy life size checkers, connect 4, corn hole, golf corn hole, and the hayride to the corn maze. *We can change Pumpkinville at our discretion for addition and subtraction of activities at any time.
Can I do both the Maze and Pumpkinville…
Yes, purchase a corn maze ticket, and participate in Pumpkinville’s activities for free! Pumpkinville is included in the maze ticket! Just make sure that your arrival time corresponds with Pumpkinville’s hours of operation. Pumpkinville
does not operate on the same hours. With a maze purchase, there is no extra charge.
I only want to play in Pumpkinville…
You are very welcome to bring your children and spend the day with us in Pumpkinville. Upon your purchase you will receive a “Pumpkinville Farm Pass Sticker”. Just show your sticker to the tractor driver, and he will also take you on our hayride that goes out to the maze. Your welcome to visit the concession stand, you are just not allowed to enter the corn mazes.
Can I pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch…
Absolutely yes! The pumpkins range in price starting at $1.00. When your family is done playing for the day, pick-out your pumpkin and proceed to the ticket sales area, we’ll take care of your purchase there.
How do I purchase my ticket...
You probably have figured out at this point what activities you would like to do. Proceed to the ticket sales area by entering the wood structure that has the sign “entrance” over the doors. Let the register folks know what your interest is, and we will take it from there. When viewing hours and admission information…. please be advised that the last ticket sale is one hour before closing. If you are a group leader, call and make the reservation…collect money ahead or in the parking lot, then proceed to the ticket counter on day of your planned trip.
